Here we positioned the projector to cover both the floor and wall of the SSU prototype. This was the prototype we showed our peers to provide us feedback for. The feedback provided by our peers offered us valuable insight into how our project can evolve into a more engaging and immersive experience for both the performers and audience. One of the main points that was brought to our attention was the predictability of the visuals. Though we originally plan to have three different interactive visuals that will alternate throughout the performance, it is important for future iterations that we incorporate varied motion so the audience doesn’t lose interest. And technical considerations regarding backdrop colour and projection quality are extremely important to our future iterations, as they deeply effect the visibility of our final design and may make it difficult for some to pick up on details. For future tests, we intend to remake our SSU prototype and also test our visuals on a sharper projector so we can see the true potential of our final designs. Overall, the feedback affirmed that we are still in our earlier prototyping stages, but still encouraged us to keep exploring future possibilities and refining our concept.
